Ok, so I decided to blog about the things we find during our drives out in the boonies of Arizona.
Starting with........this collared lizard! ooooooooooh :o) I forget the name of the place it was at *kicks self* Chris & I did sample prickly pear fruit ice cream along the way. TASTY STUFF! I'd eat more of it, but at $3 a scoop........umm no :o)

April 16th - 1 year since my mum died. Gonna go "silent" for a while.

I was working on the computer (well, at least tryin!), listening to music and Austin decided to set up a band using his stuffed animals as band members.

This is the newest member of our family!
Roxy (or Roxy Roxy) is an 11 week old Miniature Daschund.
She is absolutely NUTS! But hey! she fits in well with the rest of us :o)

My Mum

Just had to post a pic of my mum taken way back in the early 1940's. It's been just over a week since she died and I still can't believe it happened. The last thing she said to me at Auckland airport 6 years ago was "we'll see each other again" Unfortunately, we didn't :o(

Birthday - Pre-K Style

Austin celebrated his 4th birthday at school today. The teacher, Mrs Axtell made him a cool crown to wear in class (Austin was slightly embaressed to wear it infront of everyone)

He got to be the special helper for the day, plus the class sang happy birthday to him "underwater style" Which he LOVED!

I'd post the video I took of the kids singing to him, but the video is a whopping 101mb's!! *eeeks*

Fear not! I also took pictures! :o)

Chris & I snuck out of class while they were singing other songs.

I don't think Austin would stay in his seat & do school work if Chris & I had stayed. So while they were talkin turkey (Yep, the song was about turkey's) We tippy toed to the door and made our escape without Austin seeing :o)

He's Growing Up!

It is hard for me to believe that 4 years ago I was in hospital thinking that myself & the baby I was carrying were going to die.

On Friday, November 28th, 12:37pm at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in Colton, CA, Austin was born via emergency c-section.

He weighed 2lbs 3oz and was 13 inches long.

Austin came home after staying in the hospital for 3 months weighing an almighty 6lbs!!Today he is a healthy 4 year old with TONS of energy!

Birthday Time!

I can't believe it. Austin is turning 4 tomorrow! He had a little "pre birthday" birthday while Jacob was here. He was highly excited! He got "army guys" & dollars from grandma & dandad!

At his pre-school when the kids have a birthday, the teachers make them a little birthday crown & the kids sing happy birthday. Austin does'nt go to school again until Thursday, day after his birthday, but the teacher is still going to go through the whole birthday thing for Austin. Chris & I are staying with him for that class so we can see what they do & take pictures :o)

I'll be sure to post some of them on Thursday.
